Dubai motorists can now enjoy a hassle-free parking experience with the newly launched Parkin smart app.
Parkin PJSC, the largest provider of paid public parking facilities in Dubai, has rolled out this innovative mobile application to streamline parking transactions, offering features such as real-time parking availability, seamless payments, and even a 'Pay Later' option.
The app, available for download on iOS and Android, integrates various services to improve accessibility and urban mobility. With automatic number-plate recognition (ANPR) and digital wallet integration, it eliminates the need for physical tickets, reducing congestion and enhancing user convenience.
Quick Registration and Payment Options
Motorists can register on the Parkin app in three ways:
- Creating an account manually
- Using UAE Pass or an RTA account
- Completing the Parkin registration form
Once logged in, users can pay for both public and private developer parking, manage multiple vehicles, and subscribe to seasonal parking plans. The app also allows users to pay parking fines, dispute charges, and request refunds through a few simple steps.
How to use Parkin Smart App
The app’s clustering feature provides real-time parking finder functionality, helping users locate available spots effortlessly. Its advanced search function further enables users to find on-street and off-street parking with live availability updates. Motorists can also schedule parking in advance, integrating future bookings into their calendar for easy reference.
A key highlight of the app is the AutoPay feature, which offers a seamless, barrier-free parking experience. Using ANPR technology, the app automatically detects vehicle entry and exit, linking the number plate to the user’s registered payment method for automatic fee deduction. This feature is currently available at Parkin-operated multi-storey car parks (MSCPs) and malls under Majid Al Futtaim, such as Mall of the Emirates and Deira City Centre.
Flexible Payment and Subscription Plans
The Parkin app supports a variety of payment methods, including:
- Direct payment via the app
- Wallet top-ups for preloaded convenience
- Auto-renewal for uninterrupted service
The 'Pay Later' feature allows motorists to defer payments, offering financial flexibility. Additionally, parking permits can be stored directly in mobile wallets, eliminating the need for physical documents and ensuring quick access to parking information.
Future updates
Parkin has announced plans to expand the app's capabilities further. Future updates will include integrated EV charging, allowing customers to pay for charging and parking in a single transaction through the digital wallet.
Additional services such as car washing, mobile refuelling, tyre checks, engine oil changes, and battery inspections will also be introduced in collaboration with ENOC. These services will be available at select Parkin locations, with seamless booking and payment options directly through the app.
